What is NADH?
NADH (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Hydride) is a naturally occurring coenzyme found in every living cell. It is one of the central molecules involved in cellular energy metabolism and plays an essential role in the conversion of nutrients into usable cellular energy.
NADH is the reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide and serves as an important carrier of electrons in many biochemical reactions. Because of this, it is closely connected to mitochondrial function and ATP production — the process by which cells generate the energy they need to function.
